Hanson moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in 2016 and started as a shop assistant at a fabrication company. From there they learned the art of carpentry through thematic event and museum fabrication. This transformed into an integration into Hanson’s art, personal and business practice; creating conceptual art with multiple mediums and materials, building custom pieces as gifts for loved ones and custom pieces for clients.
